Am so very saddened to have only just learned of your Dads passing. Grew up knowing him as part of the " double act" along with my Dad Tom in Roadstone's Drivers crew. Having not met him in a very long time it was a pleasure to meet & speak to him this time last year . He was as ever cheerful and upbeat despite his ailments . It is how I will fondly remember him .

Have only just learned the sad news of the passing of my very good friend and co-worker in Roadstone for 35 years. Thanks for the great years we had together Paddy. Heartfelt condolences to Maura, Yvonne, Ben and Annette and all Paddy's family at this very sad & difficult time. Rest in Peace Paddy.

Unfortunately it was not possible to get to Paddy's funeral mass and to Yvonne, Ben and Annette we offer our deepest condolences.

Paddy was a true character, full of great chat accompanied with a lot of laughter. He also happened to be my uncle and given the age difference effectively a big brother. There were 22 years between Tom my father and Paddy. Along with two other cousins Eoin Murray and Bernard Collins we spent wonderful days growing up in Limekiln Farm a lot of which was with Paddy the big brother. Whilst we all grew up, had families etc, in recent years the nephews/cousins regularly met for lunch with Paddy for the chat and to reminisce.

We were able to watch the Funeral Mass on the media facility. The family presentation was truly magnificent and Bens Eulogy was not only "spot on" but also wonderful.

On our next trip to Ireland I look forward to continuing my chat with Paddy when we visit his grave

I was very sad to hear about Paddy's death..I have known him for a long long time working in Moyle Park.As caretaker and the man with all the important keys he was always very helpful and interested in all school activities .He was a great man to chat with...provided you had an hour to spare! He had a good sense of humour...he could take a joke and give a joke in equal measure. He was a true Moyle Parker.Paddy,may you rest in peace.

Maura , Yvonne, Ben and Annette and family know that Paddy was loved and admired from this side of the ocean. My father always spoke highly of his little brother and we had the good fortune of having him coming to visit in Canada. When we were in Ireland a few years back we were welcomed with open arms and Paddy made sure that your man at the airport got us a car that was large enough for me, he said with a wink and a smile. To all of you know that I was present at 04:00 AM because of the impact he had on my life and Ben through your tribute to your Pa it was obvious that he impacted countless others. Take comfort in knowing that he has made us better people and we continue his legacy following the example he gave us . Our sincere condolences and love to you all.
