I'm truly sorry to hear of your loss. It is many a year since i saw you all. Memories of Christmas Eves past...

Paddy left an impression on me. Most of all as a supremely kind man. One with a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. Always welcomed you with a smile. A man who loved his sports - i'll always remember talking with Paddy and Kenneth about the best football team in the world - Liverpool FC, OBVIOUSLY. Hearing You'll Never Walk Alone at the funeral was a nice touch... I hope Paddy enjoyed the league victory last season. We had to wait a little while, but it was well worth it.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to Paddy's family and friends. He was like a father figure to me in the 12+ years that I knew him. He always had warmth in his heart, kindness in his voice and a story to share about his many great memories. On a personal note, I will most cherish our times together playing snooker at the golf club, talking about the sport at the weekends at his home, and our family trips away, just to name a few. Paddy will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Had the pleasure of meeting Paddy on just a few occasions in Diffneys many years ago .An absolute gentleman who on recognising my surname asked was I related to Paddy Medlar who was an old football colleague @ Ierne in their younger days .On telling my favourite uncle Paddy who sadly passed away this time last year too ,he immediately acknowledged him as lovely fellow + and had many fond memories of them playing together . 2 lovely men ,who are now without doubt on the 1st team already upstairs .Dont make them like that any more !
