Our life is poorer without our dear friend Pat. We met Grainne and Pat 40 years ago and since then we have had a really strong friendship. Both were such true friends who we could rely on in so many different situations ways. Pat was a true gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. We had so many great times with them both. We have missed Grainne so much but know Pat missed her more. They are together now and although we miss them both they now have each other. RIP Pat we love you so much xxxx

I was saddened when Tony Conboy informed me about Paddy's passing a couple of weeks ago. Firstly, I wish to convey my sincere condolences to all of Paddy's kin. Although, it's sixty years or more since we saw each other, I still hold vivid memories of him. I do still have a few letters from him which I keep in my "Precious Memories" drawer. It is with effort that I shorten my thoughts of him, - a consummate gentleman, a personality to admire, a stylish outstanding footballer and a proud Boyle man to the core! Farewell, 'till we meet again and rest gently.

I really got to know Paddy when, with Tony O' Connor, John Keenehan and others organised a re-union for St. Mary's former students in 1985. It was a memorable success and we became firm friends with Paddy and Grainne. A second
Re-Union followed in 1988, this time in London, and it too was memorable.
Paddy and Grainne were a wonderful couple and we met a number times subsequently, which was always a joy. They held a high regard for Boyle and its progression. I will ever remember them and Paddy's trademark laugh.

I wish to express my condolences on hearing of the passing of Paddy. I knew him and his family here well from school days and especially with the football. Paddy was a great footballer and a key man when Boyle won the Junior final in 1964 and for a few years after before Paddy went to Ballinasloe. He was also a great sociable person and great company. I also knew his wife Grainne and members of her family in Crossmolina who I did business with. So my sympathies to all the Conlon and O' Malley families on the passing of Paddy a real gentleman and friend.
