Condolences to all the Kelly family and extended family on the passing of Pádraig. I was fortunate to know Pádraig and his family as friends from our days in the Pipers’ Club. He was one of the last links in the transition of the Pipers’ Club from Thomas Street to Monkstown and served as Chairman of the Club for many years. Pádraig was a proud Clareman, deeply passionate about Clare, its music, and its people. I always looked forward to meeting him at various gatherings, where his advice was consistently thoughtful, gentle, and encouraging. A widely respected and popular man, he always offered a warm welcome to visitors in Monkstown and was a great ambassador for Comhaltas.
We will miss him dearly and extend our deepest sympathies to his extended family.

Sincere condolences on the death of your dad, (uncle Patrick, to me). I was so so happy to have visited him with Mary before his 93rd birthday, where we played lots of his favourite tunes that he/we grew up with in Co.Clare. My mum and Uncle Pat had so much in common, I really felt it that day. Both had a wonderful love of Irish traditional music. I’m happy I shared this list of tunes with you all, which I know he asked for.

I was so very sad to hear about the passing of my Uncle Paddy. I will always remember his warm smile and his friendly, welcoming conversation. He was such a kind man, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Padraig was a true gentleman, always kind and ready to help with his great knowledge of Comhaltas matters. I was very sad to hear of the passing of uncle Patrick. Great memories of the excitement in Coolbawn when the exotic Dublin cousins came to visit and stay for a few days. My memories of Patrick are of fun and warmth and of how proud my father was of him and his family. May he rest in peace.
