I was very sad to hear this news. With sincere condolences to all Pake's family and friends. There are many stories and lovely memories of Pake and he will be remembered in the fondest terms by all of us from Dunningstown.

Sincere sympathy to the nieces, nephews and extended family on the death of Paddy. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Paddy in the Loreto Secondary School. His kindness, generosity and support were appreciated by all whom he served. Few might know of the positive influence he had on so many of the students who looked on him as a 'father figure'. On my visits to Kilkenny over the past number of years I looked forward to calling to Paddy for a chat. Because of Paddy's depth of faith and prayer I always came away inspired and energised. Thank you, Paddy, for being such a compassionate, understanding individual who always saw the good in others. May you enjoy the reward of a life well-lived.
