My heart was with you all as we prayed and said farewell to Pat, wishing that I could have been there in person with you all. Pat was a wonderful man, full of fun and faith and such a role model with you Margaret of a loving, happy married couple, devoted to each other and your family but with hearts wide enough to embrace the whole community and especially those in need. My abiding memory is of your loving support for all the Bosnian refugee community who found a home in Bayside in the 90s, and how you continued to befriend them, along with so many others in need, until today.
