Whilst I did not know Pat personally, his music and leadership of the choir was a pleasure to watch and listen to for us and our young children. This in itself was a draw to attend Sunday mass and keep coming back when we could. We'll miss him in our house but we are eternally grateful for the joy he brought us. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Pat was one of the loveliest neighbours we could have hoped for on Ardmore Drive. He will be sadly missed on the road tending his garden. Rest in Peace Pat.

Deepest condolences to the Browne family on the death of their beloved Pat. He was a great friend to all of us at Trim C.B.S in the 1960's. Despite the considerable difficulties with his health Pat attended all our Christmas gatherings down the years , right up to the date of our last Lunch in December 2019. His resignation to what life sent him certainly won him the respect and admiration of all the lads . May Pat find the peace that his suffering has earned for him.

In primary school 60 + yrs ago we were part of a group who fronted a couple of operettas and a Missa Cantata with the CBS., Trim. Countless hours of ; Learning, Practice, rehearsing and staging. It was hard but great fun. It brought us closer together in friendship. A life long friendship that lasted thru the years. We reconnected in recent yrs as if we had always been together. All of us from those early years. Pat loved our gatherings and was always 1st to reply and positively to a note of any planned event. He was always kind, gentle, loyal and true. He told us of his illness and how it would eventually take him. Its still an awful shock now its happened. We'll all miss you Pat Brown. I certainly will. Sincere regards and sympathies to Hilda and all Pat's lovely family. May God keep and rest him in peace and love. Maybe sometime in another place we could meet somehow. Wouldn't that be nice?. So long old friend.

Very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. A wonderful man that I had the pleasure of meeting when I worked in Clonliff College. The word gentleman aptly applies to Pat. I got to to know Pat these last few years through my work as sacristan in our Parish of Beaumont. It was a joy to be in his company. A man so positive about life despite his health struggles.
