Our deepest sympathy to Pat's relatives on the passing of a true gentleman. We first got to know Pat when he lived in Firhouse. When he knew we were from Liscannor he came to visit us several times and traced all his relations. He kept in contact with us when he moved back to Ennistymon and came to visit us every time he came to Dublin. We also contacted him when we were in Ennistymon and often went for lunch with him. Our family have great memories of him visiting us. He was great company and loved the people of Moymore and knew everyone. May Pat rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Pats family and friends. A true gentleman and so dedicated to his Church and Faith.
We’ve known Pat for many years through mutual parish Church activities and being Church St stalwarts. More recently he was a resident in Ennistymon Community Hospital where my mum (Margaret) also resides. Pat and Margaret sat at the same dinner table for the last 3 years. Pat looked out for her. There was the odd skirmish and prayers offered up. He was a good friend and great with the prayers. He prayed for everyone. He will be missed. Bed of Heaven to Pat - most certainly gone straight up to Heaven.

I am saddened to hear about Pat's death , but, I feel sure that he has gone straight to heaven. He lived a devout life and was loved and respected by all in Ennistymon and beyond. The Church was Pat's life and he spent much time in the presence of the Lord. When at home in Ennistymon I took him for a meal and the time was always linked with the end of Mass------ he had to tidy up the Sacristy and the church ! May Pat's gentle soul rest in peace.
