As you go through life, a small number of people make a difference. For me, Pat was of those. I was the Editor of a struggling technical magazine and we had a real problem with securing advertising to fund the publication. All the ambitious editorial plans could not be achieved without advertising revenue. Pat arrived like a whirlwind and became effectively the Commercial and Sales Director. Advertising revenues boomed allowing the investment that was needed to make the magazine successful. And at the same time, helping me advance my career in journalism. I’m eternally grateful. Thank you Pat and may you rest in peace. Tom
