I am saddened by the loss of my dear friend Pat. I first met Pat in the early 70's through Ashford Macra Na Feirme. He was a loyal and strong supportive member.He drove me and my colleagues to many Macra competitions & functions.He was a great and reliable driver and we thoroughly enjoyed many many nights of great fun and comradery.He was so dapper,wore a lovely suit-gleaming white shirt-blue tie and shoes that shined like black patent.Even though he was quietly spoken he was very perceptive and not easily fooled.I Know he met many challenges during his life time,and these challenges made him the person he was,formidable,determined and strong willed.He defied
Many institutional and commercial conglomerates His love of animals became his living world ,they provided him with kindness,company,security and unconditional love,and were by his side in his last moments.He was truely saddened by the loss of his dearest and close neighbour and friend the late Larry Timmons whom he regulary spoke of with love & effection. Whilst Pat was intelligent -well informed and up to date on current affairs he was also well read on the bible and from his reading of the bible he would regularly say and i quote "the days of our years are three score and ten". PSALM 90:110
