Pat was always remembered fondly by my late Mam, Catherine Curran, their banter as he delivered Crotty’s fresh bread and caught up on all the Tinryland news.
In later years Pat’s Christmas card and ‘special’ birthday cards were very much appreciated. Mam would ask with a smile “guess who I got a card from” ? It’s the little things.

I was very saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. I had the pleasure of knowing him while working as bar manager in Tinryland Clubhouse, and he was genuinely one of the good ones — always great company, full of laughs, and a real gentleman. We shared many fun nights and conversations, and he always spoke with such pride and love about his daughter Sharon. Pat will be remembered fondly by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
