I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Pat and I wish to pass on my sincere condolences to Evelyn, Aine, Sean, Oisin, Fionn and family. I first met Pat through the 48th Dublin Scout Troop and we very quickly became good friends and I know I am the better for having known him and Evelyn. His infectious humour, sense of devilment and endless supply of stories entertained us around many campfires and the "occasional" pub table and I know he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. Our deepest condolences to Evelyn & Family on the passing of Pat. I knew Pat through WFS. It was a pleasure working a shift with Pat. He was a kind hearted, fun loving man who was always in good humour. The staff canteen was always full of laughter and smiles when Pat was there. A annual highlight for our family was the WFS Christmas party for the kids. Pat was the main organizer of this party and would make sure the kids were entertained until the main event. On joining Aer Lingus Cargo I was fortunate to have Pat Geoghegan as my shift leader in the early days. Besides teaching me how to build pallets of freight he entertained me with funny stories about the department I had just joined. I enjoyed working alongside him there for many years.

Sixteen years later I had the good fortune to work with Pat for a second time in WFS at Dublin Airport. Pat was one of the most loyal and dedicated people I have ever met. He brought maturity and experience to a fledgling workforce which he managed with great professionalism.

Pat became a highly respected member of the management team and was instrumental in the success of the new company. He demonstrated great flexibility and provided huge support in those early days when the company was finding its feet.

I've lost a highly respected colleague and a true friend. May Pat rest in peace. My deepest sympathy to Evelyn and family.

My deepest sympathy to Evelyn and family on the sad passing of Pat. He was the nicest, kindest man to work with, a real gentleman. He always looked out for his co workers and had a good ear for listening. Glad to have known him, may he rest in peace.
I had the privilege of working with Pat for most of my adult life - firstly in Aer Lingus Cargo and latterly in WFS. Pat was loved and respected by all. He was a natural leader who had the ability to relate to people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Pat took new staff members under his wing and mentored others. He was always generous with his time.

Pat had a wicked sense of humour. His antics in Aer Lingus Cargo became the stuff of legend. It was a joy to work a late Friday with him.

Pat had a serious side too. He was very fair. He wouldn't tolerate an injustice to another. He valued friendship.

Pat's most important role was that of husband and father. He and Evelyn made a great team. He was so proud of his five kids. His love for them was so evident when he spoke of them.

The world is a poorer place with Pat's passing. My deepest sympathies to Evelyn, Aine, Sean, Conor, Oisin & Fionn.
