Dear Eileen and family. I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Pat. Many years ago I spent holidays doing the ‘Clinic Drives’; taking people from Dingle and surrounding areas to various hospital appointments when Pat worked with the Southern Health Board. Pat was always very professional and my parents had the utmost respect for him.

So sad very sad hear the news . My heartfelt condolences to Eileen, Edel, Corina, Sinead, extended Griffin and Hickson families and all who mourn the loss of an extraordinary man, always calm, and recollected . What a gift , at 97, to breathe his last at home in his own bed. Well deserved . Pat was an outstanding Public Servant , of high principles with a sense of fairness and respect for the dignity of the individual, a joy to associate with. May his reward be Great in Heaven .
