Patrick (Pat) Heffernan

I was so very saddened to learn of the untimely passing of Patrick. I remember him so well from his secondary school days in St. Colman's Community College, Midleton. He was always a quiet, gentle lad who was very diligent and a pleasure to have in the classroom. My sincere sympathy to his Dad Liam, sisters Mary and Martina, his beloved wife Majella and little son Bobby. May Patrick rest in eternal peace.

So very sad to hear of Pats passing. He was a great colleague when we worked in Wright Windows together. We always had great craic over where the real Capital of Ireland was (Dublin v Cork) and also whether Liverpool or Man United were the better team. Condolences to all Pats family & friends. He will be sorely missed. May his gentle soul rest in peace 🙏 ✨️

My deepest condolences to you Majella and Bobby. Pat was my tuition buddy and mentor. He gave up his time to show me the ropes in a brand new country, he’d regularly lend a listening ear and I wouldn’t be where I am today without his friendship and support. Rest in peace lovely Pat.

I've only heard this terrible news today and it's shocked me to the core.
I worked with Pat in Wright Window Systems and he was one of life's good guys. No matter how things were going at work, Pat always had a smile on his face and a few jokes. The great craic we had playing cards in the canteen at lunchtime will stay with me forever.
I have on words other than to offer my deepest condolences to all of Pat's family.

We had a driving appointment slotted before my driving test, only to reach your contact to no avail (In my mind I was like this is not like Pat) Only to find out that it is because you passed oh God the shock! I hope you are smiling down on me because I passed today (Would have been nice to see you happy for me as we have walked this journey together).The most calm, gentleman who talked so lovingly of his son and wife. I am so sad to hear of Pat's sudden passing & at such a young age. I was 2 years behind Pat in Shanagarry National School & a neighbour from a few doors down. I will always remember Pat for his lovely, gentle nature and his beautiful smile that always reached his eyes - a small boy version of the lovely photo of him more recently as a grown man.
