I am very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I met him in Flamingos night club over 44 years ago, where he worked. Years later he was very kind in doing DJ for people that i supported in St Michael's House. We had parties in local football halls. Always smiling and obliging. Lovely person. Very sad that he had to leave. Condolences to his family. 💔

I remember when I started working in the p&t later becoming telecom eireann he was a skilled engineer very helpful in teaching others. I remember working with him in the centre of Dublin one time and people were coming out of shops and buildings all over the place to talk to pat and I said to him your more popular than the president of ireland he will be sadly missed

We met him several times at the CCMA on thursday nights as our Concertina class were the last group to leave the Music Centre as he waited patiently to collect you. He was a pure gentleman.
