Patrick (Pat) Maguire

Pat was a dear friend to me and my family, and he meant a lot to us all. He was a man you could trust with anything, always on the lookout for how he could help, always trying to do the right thing, and always good fun to be with. He was a true gentleman and he’ll be very sadly missed. Deepest sympathy to Ross, Joe and all the family.

I am so sad about Pat, he was like a brother and part of our family. I have know Pat since I was a child. He was always a gentleman, funny and kind. I hope he and Johnny are having that 'cuppa tea' they we such great friends. My deepest condolences to you all.

Pat, was a gentleman. Did so much for music and people. Our condolences to his family. He'll be missed at the lizzy and horslips gigs. A true legend. He's up with the rockers now.

Pat you were a true gentleman who would go so many more miles to sort out any problem. My condolences and prayers to Ross and Joe and to your lovely family at this time. From all the loving reports from music and entertainment heavyweights you were a lot of the reason behind such success. From a personal level I know if ever a problem arose in the Killer, one phone call to Pat Maguire it could be sorted within 1/2 an hour, no matter where or what you were doing, so Pat I thank you so much for the help and difficult situations you rectified. You will be missed and remembered so much not only for your professionalism but more importantly the type of person you were.

Sadly its is a few years now since I last saw Pat. He called out to see me when I lived in Greystones. He came with bad news about a friend who was dying and he Pat was very upset about it. Pat was a caring guy. Time and tide moves every day and it sweeps away great people and important friends day after day and with each passing we are left with a gentle reminder that everyone we know and love is unique x

So sorry to hear of Pat”s passing, Although I have not seen him in recent years, I have fond memories of working on a gig with him with the late Chris Roche in Dubai many years ago, A true gent who had everything control, and nothing was a problem,

A poor Pat. He was a sensational gentleman. From the sound and lighting store to roadshow rentals he was a true gentleman. A gentle soul always there to help nothing was too big. The 80s and 90 s Fantastic time. Wonderful life time memories. Met Pat recently in the Dundrum house where I think his son was the chef. He was so proud. O the memories!! It is with deep regret and sadness that I have learned of the passing of Pat.

Pat was one of natures gentlemen and a gentleman through and through.

He tackled all tasks with enthusiasm and commitment, he had the ideal combination of an excellent academic background with extensive practical experience and understanding.

In all my dealings with Pat he was the most honest, decent and trustworthy person that I have had the privilege of meeting and working with in all of my lifetime.

His great wit, wisdom, banter and craic will be severly missed by all who knew him.
