Sincere condolence to Kate and extended family, Pat was a true community man, he attended every dog fair to horse fair in the Ballydehob area and got involved in the community, s affairs. Ar deis De go raibh a anam dhílis.

Had the pleasure of meeting pat and Phil when we bought the Shoemakers in Ballydehob approx 20 years ago. Had many lovely chats with him over the years. An absolute gentleman .Our deepest sympathies to Pats daughter and family john and monica sheehy Cork city 🙏

He had a vision for what it could achieve and was passionate about the benefits it could bring for the community. Ballydehob was always his focus, he was always thinking of the next thing to be done and what other amenities could be provided or improved - he was a community man to the core. We were so sorry that we weren’t able to be at his funeral as we were away. May he rest in peace.
