The Murphy home is a place of great hospitality and we had many a wonderful session there with Pat and Margaret. Pat always full of mischief and laughing is how I remember him, and discussing the finer points of local history.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Pat had great joy for life; I loved bumping into him on Strand Road and having the chats as we strolled along together. My condolences to Margaret and family.

Pat was a lovely man and a great loss to the community. Will miss him very much especially when he was doing his walks. He used to walk from the church around the Glen at one stage and always had some interesting points of view and a twinkle in his eye. My deepest condolances to Margaret and all the family.
