I am so sorry to be unable to join with you but am thinking of you all and your wonderful Pat. While we have not met in a long time I have never forgotten his warmth and kindness which is so beautifully captured in the photo you chose. To me Pat was a wonderful man in every way - warm, sincere, loyal, empathic, kind of heart and good-humoured - qualities mirrored in each one of you. I have no doubt the courage he showed in recent years, through his illness can be added to that list
I feel for you all in your loss - but how much greater would the loss have been if Pat had never crossed our paths in the first place.
