My sincere sympathy to Phil, Mary, and the rest of Pat's family. I have so many good memories of Pat from all though my growing-up years and after. He had his own special way of letting me know that he was happy to see me and interested in how things were going on with me - and I know that he did that for a lot of people. And he was always doing his best to knock a smile or a laugh into our day. It was good medicine to run into Pat Toole.
I will miss seeing him around, especially around Two-Mile-House church where he showed up so often. He has many neighbours already in the graveyard beside that church that loved him and he them; and the struggles and laughter they shared with each other over the years echo still. With verdant hope I pray that they are all in heaven already and Pat now too. I also have this feeling that he will be there trying to help with pulling me in too when my time comes. That is how he was. May he rest now in peace.
