Alice, Carol, Colin, Aiden and Allie, I am so saddened to hear about Uncle Pat! He was a legend in his own right, pure personality…..he taught me a lot when I was growing up and I loved going to Wells house and Dublin knowing we would have a great laugh and fun competition!

Alice and Carol so sad to hear Uncle Pat has passed . I remember Pat as a larger than life figure with a quick wit and an unmistakeable laugh that you could hear down the hall long before you could see him .. I am glad I was privileged enough to spend time with him and Alice the last time i was in Dublin . I am lucky to have shared a pint ot two,enjoy his fantastic hopitality, sence of humour and marvel at his legendry skill at trivial persuit and quizing . Uncle Pat, Bobby and I will miss you very much

Dearest Alice, Carol & Family. We were so sad to hear of Pats recent illness and his passing. Myself and John have the fondest memories of Pat over the years. He was a great story teller.. I loved listening to his stories of when he was young with my Dad and what they got up to. We have lots of memories of holidays in Nerja, Wells house and family events over the years. Pat will be sadly missed and in our thoughts, may he rest in peace and thoughts and prayers are with you all today.x

Dearest uncle Pat. I’m so sorry I won’t be attending your final farewell! Under different circumstances, I would have been here. I have so many fond memories……. You singing Sinatra and duetting with Carol at Nan and Grandads golden wedding anniversary when we were little kids.Following you round the golf course with Declan and Mark as kids with one set of golf clubs between the three of us on our weekend away, and retiring on the 14th hole because we were tired and crap at golf! Our amazing long weekend at Wells castle singing round the fire with Eugene on the guitar.You having my mum crying with laughter at Bailey’s court hotel Sunday carvery… mooing every time you had a mouthful of roast beef, pretending you had mad cow’s disease!😁. Our chats when I used to stay at yours on my solo trips as a young teenager. These are just a handful of memories that spring to mind….. there were so many more!!! Rest in peace and catch up with my dad for a pint of Guinness in the sky! Lots of love!! Patrick, Helen, Cora and Shea. Xxxx

To My Sister Alice and the family, The first time I saw Pat Doyle was in my sisters home. On meeting him I realised I was speaking to a gentleman. Getting to know him I found him to be a very knowledgeable man. One could learn from his knowledge, nothing ever seemed to phase him, he was one of the rare old stock, a typical Dubliner, well loved by everybody. Sorry I could not make the funeral but I shall always remember him as a thorough gentleman. Rest in Peace Pat Doyle and my condolences to Alice and Carol. Love Matt and Trudi xx

My family & friends fell in love with him when he came to New York in 2027 to attend our Son Mike & Daughter in law Ericas wedding.
