A lovely man who did so much for his community, remember him cutting the grass at the pedestrian entrance and transforming the estate over the years, he will be greatly missed and his work in the estate over many many years is very much appreciated, may he rest in peace

The staff of Corpus Christi National School wish to express their heartfelt condolences to the Quinn family on the passing of their father, Pat.
The pupils, parents and staff of Corpus Christi were blessed over the last number of years by the constant presence of Pat in the church. Pat attended every ceremony and celebration, he prepared the church in advance and was always so welcoming to all in our school community.
During the pandemic years, Pat organised the church to ensure everyone was kept safe which was a great support to the staff of the school.
We will miss Pat's welcoming smile, his sincerity and his kindness and we will remember him as a caring, selfless person who was a great role model for community volunteering.

Our sincerest sympathies to all of Pat's adored family. He spoke of you all with such pride. Pat was a wonderful and kind neighbour and we will miss him so much around Courtlands for the chats when he was out walking with Tipp. He was such a good friend to Jim/ Dad and a huge support to us when Dad passed away in 2022. His humour and sense of fun gave us some great stories of Jim and their times together in Corpus Christi Church. Rest in Peace Pat.

We shared a room in the Valuation Office for many years. Always helpful, always cheerful, always funny, he was loved by everybody. He seemed to know vast numbers of people all over the country; I remember him introducing me to the lovely fries in the tiny Del Rio cafe near the Abbey.
He was a very hard and strong worker; in his youth he ploughed with horses he told me and in later years he drove a combine harvester in Ballinadee for Frank Brennan. He called to my land in Bandon on several occasions, each time taking away some sticks of rhubarb and presenting me later with a delicious jar of ginger and rhubarb jam made by his beloved Joan.
As is the way of life the rhubarb lives while Pat passes on. It will remind me of him.
