PATRICK (PAT) SHINE

Just found out about the passing of Pat. Can always remember him when we were children our parents taking him out of Artane monthly to our house for a break and also in the summertime.
When he went to work on the Cruise Ships on his return every few years he always came to visit especially our Mum with lovely presents for everyone.
He continued to keep in touch with Mum until her death. Last time we spoke to Pat was 2002 in Cork.
He was a lovely man.

We were at his retirement party in the Carrigaline Court Hotel, and had a very enjoyable evening. He will be missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

He was a customer of ours from the very beginning and there was hardly a week went by that he didnt call in. He was passionate about his garden and loved spending time outside.Everyone knew Pat by name and his soft spoken nature endeared him to us all.

Im so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I worked with Pat in C.I.T. He was my boss, a very fair, kind, humble, witty gentleman. He was an excellent boss, and friend. We shared many stories. He would often talk of his time working on the cruise ships. We would chat about nature and the value of good friends and life. We had coffee a few times after I left C.I.T, in his house, where we again chatted about life. There wasn't a topic that Pat wasn't willing to embrace in.
Rest easy Pat, you will be missed.
