Deepest sympathy to Ray, Darina and the Morgan Family on the death of Patsy. Such a wonderful man, he was very kind to me when I came into this parish. Patsy was one of the first people I got to know when he helped out with my research for the Parish History and continued to update me with snippets on a Sunday morning after mass long after we had published. I was very sorry to hear of his death in these difficult times, he will be greatly missed.

I was so saddened to hear of this loss, a loss to the Morgan family and the entirety of the monasterboice community, particularly those of us that grew up and live(d) on "the lane". I was one of those fortunate few that lived on the lane and Patsy will always have a special place in my heart. He fed my beloved first cat every year we went on holidays. I had so much fear that my beloved Borris (the cat) would run away in my absence but I trusted patsy implicitly to keep watchful eye. Patsy eventually found Borris when she (yeah, turned out Borris was a "she") passed and buried her on our behalf - what a kind, gentle and practical soul. He always came to our saving grace - be it that our well had run dry, our septic tank was overflowing or our car needed a tug up Campbell's hill in the snow. You'll forever have a place in my heart and memories Patsy. My love and sympathy to the whole family. Sorry I can't be there for the send off. I'm there in spirit.
