Remember him well from Quinns Summerhill and amiens was a lovely man.R.I.P.

I have two outstanding memories of my eldest brother - one was going with him to paint white lines on pitches in the park with the smell of the grass and the little machine with the wheel and the white paint. The other was playing chess, and his great patience because I was a child and not a very good player anyway. He taught me to lose graciously, that winning at all costs is not important but taking part is, and that's a valuable life lesson I have carried with me since. I can't be with you all due to quarantine restrictions between the UK and Ireland, but my husband John and I will be watching online, as will friends in Brussels, Paris, London and Dublin. We may have to keep physical distance, but you are in our hearts.

He was a wonderful man, whose company and good cheer I enjoyed to the utmost, every time I had the pleasure of his company. I will miss him dearly, but remember him fondly.
