He was a gentleman and we will always remember with fondness the great times we spent together. Whether it be Dublin ,Seychelles Morocco or Spain no matter the place ,it was always a great occasion. We will miss him dearly and he will forever in our thoughts.

I am shocked to hear of Paddy's passing last Sunday. By coincidence,I just happen to have been in St.Vincent's Hospital at the time of Paddy's death. He was a good friend of mine in the Synge Street Past Pupil's Gaelic Football Club. I am lucky to have been to,and enjoyed, many chats and coffee in his and Helen's home on the seafront in Bray.We offer our very sincere condolences to you, Helen and the Rice and Quinn families.Fear mór uasail eile atá imithe romhainn. Sincere sympathy to Helen and all the family. Paddy and I were first acquainted in ALT accounts dept. over 65 years ago, soldiering together on the depts soccer team. Over the years our paths deviated, coming together in later years in our respective roles as chairman and secretary of TIMAS. The bed of heaven to his gentle and immortal soul.

We will never forget the going away trip to the USA in 1979 when Paddy organised the pre-trip party in Dublin Airport for the one and only overseas trip by the club. My deepest condolonces , all my life until my dad passed away in 2018 , I heard lots of stories of Paddy and Tony Swift ( RIP) . Sad that those three who grew up together have left this world but happy knowing that they are back together again .

I have very fond memories from the many stories my late husband, Desmond shared of Paddy and his childhood years growing up on Church Ave, Rialto, and at Secondary School in the O’Brien Institute (OBI)
Paddy was an amazing correspondent for keeping in touch down through the years with greeting cards for every occasion and an update on his family he was so proud of.
