I knew Pat from Blackrock Hurling Club, and he was a great Rocky. He was there every Saturday morning selling hurleys and encouraging the young players and coaches. He was just one of those faces that were always there, and he gave so many hours of his time to the club. A lovely man who always had a kind word to say - Pat will be deeply missed.

I brought my two grandnephews to the Rockies twenty years ago when they were very little. Pat was always there with his words of encouragement, his welcoming smile and his positivity. Even though the boys moved out of Cork city as young children and joined other clubs, they never forgot their early days in The Rockies and have very warm memories of Pat.
He was an absolute gentleman and he will be very much missed.
