Sincere condolences to all the family on Pat's passing. We lived in Farney Park for many years, and Pat was always around for a laugh and a chat (and keeping an eye on things). It was a lovely mass, and the turn-out showed just how loved and respected Pat was. We hope that's some comfort for you all at this sad time.

Dear Garrett & Kieron, we were so very sorry to hear of the death of your dear Dad Paddy. We have very fond memories of him both in Derrynane and Farney Park, always looking so dapper and always ready for a chat.

As we are away at present we were unable to attend his funeral mass but will remember him in prayer.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Dear Garrett, Kieron and extended familes, I am deeply saddened to read of your dad's passing. I have lovely memories of when your parents would visit our family and my parents would visit yours. From memory your parents had a leather stool in the shape of a camel that I loved to sit on. I can remember when Paddy brought back from South Africa two lovely ornaments for my parents. His family and grandchildren, Conor, Ciaran and Sean lined out for our teams. We will remember Patrick and his wonderful contribution to our club on the playing fields.

Our deepest condolences to all of the Saunder's family. We new him as Paddy in Glenesk Court, where he was a friend to us all and to my mother Maureen. Between them they ran the little complex for many years. Paddy was a real gentleman and was always ready to help. Our prayers are with him and may he rest in peace.

It was a very nice service today and you all did very well in keeping your composure. Your dad and mom(one in the same as you more or less said) were always very welcoming people who made one feel at home very quickly. I remember your dad when I was 10 visiting Ireland in 1957 at your grandparents house on Derrynane. Your whole family was wonderful in making us feel at home and that we had always lived there. And again when January and I visited in February 1985 on our way back from the Philippines at their place in Sandymount(??) Just really warm people who I(we) enjoyed being with. Good memories.

Garrett and Kieron, I was so very saddened to learn of your dear Dad's passing, I suppose there is never a good way to hear such news, however, if there is, then, fortuitously meeting you on Bath Avenue this afternoon and hearing from yourselves is probably as gentle a way, as can be expected, at such a sad time for you and your Families.

I've fond memories of your Dad (and Mum) with yourselves, on a trip to Silver Strand in Wicklow, on a sunny summers day in the mid seventies, cruising along in the Capri and if I remember correctly, the Perry Como 8-Track playing as we cruised along.

I hope your own memories of your dear Dad and Mum in happier times, may help you through this sorrowful time and leave you with the joy that can only come with having had two wonderful people as loving parents.
