Very sad to hear of Paddy's passing. As kids growing up on the avenue Mr Shelley always had lots of time for us all. He would help us make wooden ramps for us to throw ourselves off and show us how to fix up the garden.

In more recent years he'd still take the time to stop and chat and see how we are all keeping these days.
Always a gent the friendliest of neighbours.

Paddy you are one of life's gentlemen, it was always a pleasure to visit you. I'll miss your letters they always had something personal and always came with good wishes.
