Very sorry to hear of Patricks sudden passing. Patrick was a lovely caring person and loved a chat and was a good friend of my late husband Frank and myself down through the years. He rang me recently and we had a long chat on the phone. He will now be reunited with his Mother Rose that he loved so much and missed. May Patricks gentle soul rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Patrick's brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family.
I'm very sorry to read of his sudden death. RIP.
I seem to have known Patrick for most of my years in Bray, especially at Bray Library. Of which he was a long time member and frequent visitor.
Patrick was always good for a chat, indeed for a probing question or two, which would demand a considered response. His knowledge and ability in Latin provided the foundation for an incisive and informed intellect. He combined this with politeness and courtesy. And an occasional quirkiness! Patrick retained even in some adversity a very positive outlook on life.
Patrick is now reunited with recently deceased members of his family.
May his gentle soul have Eternal Rest.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Mick.
