A sad moment in a full life; my regrets and regards to Maura and the rest of the family. For those who do not know me, I was a second cousin of Paddie, the youngest son of Hyacinth Francis McQuaid and grandson of Patrick and Elizabeth McQuaid, then, great grandson of John McQuaid (1836 -1905) of Glaslough, Co. Monaghan and 'Stormanstown,' Dublin and Mary Agnes McMullen. I spent a few hours in Booterstown about a decade ago, thus my knowledge of the family.
Happy memories are now fading, so be brave Maura and whatever is left of time will lessen the pain. John and Lynn McQuaid and the family in Leicester, England.

Condolences to all the family on your great loss. I've no doubt he will live on in your hearts.

Very sorry to hear the sad news of Paddy's death. Although it is many years since we last met I often think of the many happy and productive days we spent together in Shannon when he was advising us.
