Sleep well Uncle Patrick, reunited at last with granny, grandad and all your brothers and sisters one of whom is our mum Mary. I hope they had the piano ready for you and that there is a great sing song going on. Many happy memories of the years spent in 4 Sth Quay when we were children and the classic comics from your collection you used to let us look at, also all the times you took us out on the river. Ah Pat, the quiet man, an utter gent, I hope there is the biggest softest blanket and all the chocolate you can eat waiting for you in heaven. It was a pleasure knowing you and hearing all your stories of the quay. RIP now Pat.

My condolences on the passing of Patrick. I remember him fondly on the river first thing in the morning with the gaff after the salmon and trout, a lovely guiet gentleman.

Pat was a true gentleman, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone around him. He never complained and faced every day with grace. Our hearts are heavy with his loss, but we take comfort in the many wonderful memories we have of him.

When I was growing Patrick used to bring me out on his boat. He used to use one Oar in a figure of 8 pattern to propel the boat forward like a Gondaler. A very nice man and nice neighbour. And both my late mother Marie and her late neighbour Eileen both use to make sure he had a good Christmas dinner. May you rest in peace Patrick from all on South Quay 💔
