Breda, so sorry to hear of Pat's passing.

Sincere condolences to you and all of his family. We have fond memories of Pat as a child (and of you and John) - he must have been four or five when we first met him - and then through Templeogue College and Mary's.

We wanted to pay our respects to you in person at the funeral but unfortunately weren't able to go.

Take care, you and your family are in our thoughts.

Lar and Margaret Dempsey and family.
Deepest condolences from all at Templeogue College on Patsy’s passing. May he rest in peace.
So sorry to hear about patsys death, i did not even know that he had died, i knew patsy for some time, such a nice person, am devastated that i was not there at his funeral, patsy was always helping others, when he managed the lads cricket team, for those few years, each season was an event to look forward to, especially the bus trips to donamana in northern ireland, where paty always made sure that the day would be an event to remember. To all the fogarty family my heartfelt condolences.
Sincere sympathies to the Fogarty family on Patsy’s passing, one of the best rest in peace Patsy.

Julie, Mark and Patrick please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your Dad. I was a Templeogue College classmate and teammate and I fondly remember Patsy as one of the really good guys and a very talented rugby and soccer player. I missed his glory days at St Mary's as I went the soccer route but, on the rare occasions that I met him since, he was always the same guy - solid, authentic, personable and as likeable as ever. My prayers are with you as you move forward. I hope that the warm affection we all feel for your Dad, so palpable at the funeral mass this morning, will sustain you in your grief. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal. David

Shocked and saddened to hear the news of Pats passing.
Sincere sympathy to Breda,Julie,Patrick and Mark.
Dear Breda (Philip and Aoife), Julie, Mark and Patrick.

We were so very sad to hear the news of Patsy’s passing. It’s so hard to believe because he was always larger than life. His laugh/giggle was hilarious and the glint in his eye was dangerous! There was always craic when he was around and we have wonderful memories over the decades of great sessions in Wainsfort with Kitty and Mary’s and elsewhere. One memory particularly sticks out .. the day of our wedding.. 1989 …and Patsy was doing the catering for us in the Club. A mid-morning phone call on the day informed us that Patsy wouldn’t be there as he’s been arrested in England (slightly speeding).. panic ensued but we were re-assured that all would be well as he had already delegated to Skinny who did a brilliant job later that day. How Patsy organised this, given the circumstances, was a mystery but that was Patsy… he would never let you down.

Loved you dearly, rest in peace with Denis, Kitty and Johnny.

Linda and Dave Gardner

I last met him in the club about two years ago on one of my visits home and he was in top form. He never forgave me for moving to England (LOL), but he did organise my leaving 'do' which lasted about two weeks.
So many fond memories from our days in national school, Templeogue College, Cypress Grove F.C. and St. Marys RFC. Plenty of Saturday nights were spent in Wainsfort Avenue singing until dawn with Kitty on the fiddle - and that was after the discos were over !
Kitty and Pat even brought me to my one and only Munster Hurling Final in Thurles back in the day. So many fond and unique memories.
A true gentleman, generousity in abundance, and a mischievous sense of humour, that was Pat. Proud to call him a friend. My visits to the club will not be the same again. RIP.
