Paud is fondly remembered by those of us who were privileged to have know him as a Met Éireann colleague, over many years.

I only knew him as his time in Badminton ended and my time as Kerry juvenile Sec. began he was so dedicated that even after he finished he would phone me on the evening of championships to find out who had won or was finalist. I worked with Paud in the Obs and he was great to work with, so knowledgeable, kind and caring. He set a high standard and was inspiring through his dedication and professionalism. A hard act to follow, not to forget Pauds excellent handwriting ability! Outside of work he was a lovely, caring man who loved his family and will be sorely missed.
