My sympathies to Paul Anthony's wife, sons and extended family. I did not know him except through listening to him on the radio. Many a time I pulled over to concentrate on what he had to say, and hear him explain complex legal cases. At dheis De go raibh a anam.

Deepest sympathy to Paul Anthony's Family. I was always impressed by his knowledge of the law and how simple he made it appear to the rest of us mortals. I met him briefly at the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park with his Mam, though I couldn't remember his name, just that I recognised him from tv and he was most gracious. May he rest in peace.

I saw Paul and his brother James debate at the 'Philosoph', UCC, many times in the 1990s ably representing UCD and the Kings Inns. Always a very entertaining and engaging speaker. He later lectured me in the Law of Contract and made a dry as dust subject engaging and interesting -always describing equitable solutions as 'your flexible friend' amusingly borrowing from a 1980s ad for the Access credit card. He had an unlikely but very effective talent for comedy. So very sorry to hear of his untimely death and I shall miss his regular television and newspaper contributions. My sympathies to his family

Only knew him as my lecturer in UCD. But he was an absolutely superb lecturer and a total gentleman. He was kind and
patient. He impressed me very much and will be very much missed.. I would like to pass my condolences to all his family especially his wife, his two babies, his mother and of course to James whom I also only knew as my lecturer and who is also a thorough gentleman.

I never knew Paul Anthony but heard him on radio and TV explain the legal implications of complex issues so many times, but in simple steps so compelling. We will miss this, he was the Gay Byrne of the legal profession. We all owe him a super thanks. Deepest condolences to his family Andy.

So sorry for your loss. Paul Anthony was such a gentleman and I was lucky to have met him in the Four Courts about five years ago. He was so generous with his time to explain everything to us. Gone from this earth way to early. Rest in Peace Paul Anthony.

He was an extraordinarily gifted man and touched so many people with his charming wit and intelligence which he shared so effortlessly.
