Paul was the most thoughtful kindest gentle soul put on this earth. He was a terrific Dad and his family was his whole world. If his children were happy then he was too. He had great empathy for people’s needs. He was an all round beautiful human being. This world’s loss is Heaven’s gain.

Dear Frances and Family
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Paul's illness and death. Deepeat condolences to you Frances and All your Children, Step Children, grandchildren and extended family of Paul.

I met Paul and Frances, in 2006. I worked with Frances, Paul was a gentleman who I met in The Portering Department. Paul was a fountain of information and knowledge. He guided many of us with industrial Relations and Human Resource Management and all matters involving both Union and dealing with Industrial Relations matters. I often enquired and always got a helpful advice and whatever Paul would be unsure of, he would look into and come back with the information.

On a more personal note, we had had an unfortunate post surgical issue with one of our kids, which was life threatening, the day is ingrained in my memory because the first person and friend that came to Pat and I in a side toom, was Paul. He helped us in a manner in which only a parent or a best friend could. We could not process what was happening and Paul was an exceptional friend and colleague. For that I am eternaly grateful to Paul.
May Paul now rest in everlasting perfect peace . May strength be granted to Frances, All the children and grandchildren and wider families and friends, colleagues and neighbours
May your memories give you strength and comfort in coming days, weeks and months and forever. Paul was a friend.

To Paul’s family , there is a whole generation of staff who have years of stories between us about your Dad . He knew the system ! He knew kindness and empathy was all parents and patients needed . He taught an awful lot of us a lot of things . I’d often bump into him after he retired and he’d always leave a little pearl of advice . One of a kind to so many of us.
