I only met Paul a few weeks ago in hospital. I was in the bed opposite him for nearly two weeks. We talked every day. He was a gentleman. I was very sad to hear the news of his passing. My nephew Wayne O’Meara told me the news who knew Paul well.
I am so sorry for his lovely family who were up constantly in the hospital.May he rest in peace.

I’ve had the pleasure of Paul’s company since I started drinking in The Dragon just over two and a half years ago.
He always came across as a gentleman, I always got a hello with a cheeky smile and some good banter and laughs.
