Dear Anne-Marie and Ben, my deepest sympathies. I first met Paul in the early seventies when I was studying with the Legion of Christ. Such was Paul’s gift for friendship that we kept in touch until I retired from working life in Dublin. I too valued his warm gentle humor, his spiritual curiosity and loyal friendship. I will keep you both and Paul in the Light. Love. Padraic.
Deepest condolences to you Anne-Marie and Ben. Remembering all the dedication Paul showed in WETNS and all the fun you both brough to the community. May he rest well.
Paul was a wonderful, kind-hearted and witty man. He faced his illness with great strength and humility. We shall sorely miss his frequent visits to Kerry where he would frequently light up the room with his ‘stories’ and bonhomie.
And to Anne-Marie and Ben…… your personal tributes to Paul at his service were beautifully crafted and so true. Words of love that Paul himself cannot fail to appreciate.

What sad news to hear of Paul’s death. He was a wonderful friend to my brother Brendan Neville and as such he was included in many family gatherings. He always brought the fun and laughter and was such enjoyable company. He loved to talk. Latterly he joined our Dingle fellowship whenever he was in Kerry and I had a chance to see his deeply spiritual side and his love of debate .
My mother Nonie has fond memories of his visits to her in Kerry.
Condolences to you both Anne-Marie and Ben.

Our sincere condolences to Anne-Marie, Ben and all family and friends. Very sorry to learn of your sad loss from Mark Wilcock.. Paul joined with us at the Cellar Group in Westminster Cathedral in the 80s and became a good friend (even playing the organ at our wedding in St Albans in 1986!) A lovely guy, may he Rest in Peace.
My deepest condolences to Paul's lovely family and friends. He was a real gentleman in the truest sense of the word. Funny and kind to a fault. I met him through his friend Brendan here in Dingle at our Bible study. He blessed our group with thought provoking comments and thoughtfulness. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I'm happy we will meet again in a better place with no more sickness.
God bless and comfort you all as you grieve.

To Anne Marie, Ben and The wider Brady family, we are deeply saddened to hear of this sad event and extend our sympathies to you all.
At #18 Granville Road, we spent many years next door to Paul and his family and enjoyed the company of Paul, his siblings and his beautiful gentle parents Myra and Kerry. We spent many happy days with Paul in the back gardens of Granville Road and I am sure all the neighbours will remember the wonderful music that was part of daily life at #16. Paul remained a family friend of the Byrnes all his life and we were very happy to have enjoyed his sense of humour and his wonderful hospitality in Cabinteely, London and Arklow.

I met Paul whilst working at GAM in mid 90s. What started off as colleagues we became close friends and stayed that way since. Paul's charisma, intelligence, empathy and constant humour made it easy to be good friends. I am left with the cherished memories of our chats, debates and laughs... So many laughs! You always reminded me of our close friendship Paul... the feeling was mutual and the privilege was mine. RIP Paul.

Also remembering the dedication, kindness & care of Paul and Anne-Marie when we called to see Fr John lying in repose. Rest in peace Paul.

Anne-Marie, Ben and family, I was devastated to hear of the death of dear Paul. Though we had never met in person we had spent valuable time getting to know each other via Zoom. I loved the the connection with Paul who over recent times had become a wise and personable friend. Despite his own challenges he always was always there to give encouragement and a true sense of understanding. Thank you Paul and may God now hold you in His arms. And may God bless you Anne-Marie and Ben today and in the days to come.
My sympathy and condolences to Anne Marie, Ben and Paul's family.
Paul and I were at college together in Dublin Business School. We became good pals during and after the course. He had a great sense of fun and always a positive outlook in life. I will treasure the memories of both of us drinking outdoors at the Pavilion Bar[ Trinity College] most Friday's after college.
RIP Paul.

I had come to know Paul through the Lay Community online , albeit briefly . A man clearly of deep thoughtfulness and empathy for others . He will be missed by the many people that he reached out to and made friends with .
May he now be resting in peace with the Lord that he loved .

How very sad to learn of Paul's untimely death. I never met him but was deeply moved by his beautiful contributions to the LCSB's early morning prayer. So poetic and insightful, delving deep into his great life of suffering.. I am sure he is resting in peace. My deepest condolences.
Anne-Marie and Ben, I am so sorry for your great loss.
Deepest condolences. I was privileged to know Paul through the Lay Community. He and I had some great times together, working on the Lay Community magazine and other things. I did not see him for many years but we had a meeting on Zoom a few months ago and picked up our friendship straight away. Like so many, I loved his company, his irreverence (there was a lot of that!), his humour and the vastness of his heart.
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the death of Paul who was a genuinely good man and will be much missed. It was a privilege to have known him. He has been taken far too early. May he rest in peace and rise in the glory of heaven.
It has been a pleasure to meet Paul over the internet these past months. He has enriched our appreciation of Irish culture, beautiful landscapes and spirituality. Dear AnneMarie and Ben,
Sending you my deepest condolences at this incredibly difficult time. I didn’t know Paul well but like Paul I returned to the LCSB in the last few years. His EMPrayers often touched me deeply. His deep love for his beautiful country and the spirituality of that extraordinary place came through very powerfully. He will be so missed. May you and Ben find comfort and peace as you navigate your way through the unwelcome landscape of grief. God Bless you and keep you held securely in the palm of His strong hands. May Paul RIP and Rise in Glory.
