Paul was ever present and always available to help during my time in Roundwood with the school teams,the ladies and girls teams and also with Cumann na mBunscol.He took great pride in the Centre and the pitches and was never slow to let you know,in the nicest possible way, if something was left open or a light switch had been left on.He was very good with the little reminders and his dedication and pride in the work he did was outstanding.He was and will be remembered as a very special person. We are all so sad to hear of Paul's passing, we got to know him when he was our postman and he was always so nice and friendly and had time for a chat with you. We used to joke about the radio blaring out the music in his van when he would come up the drive, you knew it was Paul coming to deliver the post. Condolences to his family at this very sad time. People appear and disappear from your life . I hadn’t heard from Paul for years and one day I met someone who was heartbroken about their postmen who had got some bad news . I soon realized that it was Paul that they were talking about . He was a true gentleman . What he leaves behind is the memory of touching so many peoples lives in a positive way and for no other reason than that he could . What a legacy.
