We used to love when Paul would call in for a chat and we were privileged to have enjoyed a great conversation together just a few short weeks ago. Dear Neil, GBK, Eoin & Catherine,

-- Condolences to you all. The Service at Booterstown Church yesterday

Wednesday, was a superb tribute to Paul Snr. from the speakers, along

with a fitting set of music-interludes, well-chosen.

"Go n-éirí an an bóthar chun freastal ar Anam Paul, in éineacht le héin na

Spéire".
To Eoin sincere condolences to you and all your family on the passing of your father.

Sincere condolences to the Burke-Kennedy family. Thinking of you at this difficult time. May Paul rest in peace.
So very sorry to hear of your Dad's death, Neil. Paul was always so welcoming, and happy to chat, especially about our mutual love of Citroens (remember the 'passenger window' incident?). Your Mum was also such a lovely person. Deepest sympathies, and may they both rest in peace. Take care,
I learned with sadness that Paul Burke-Kennedy had died. He was such a lovely man and a fine architect who, along with the late Des Doyle, established one of the most successful architectural practices in Dublin.

I last saw Paul in the distance amidst the Bloomsday mayhem at Caviston's in Glasthule last June, wearing his signature blue blazer. But he was gone before I got a chance to say hello, which was a pity.

Sincere condolences to all the family.
Sorry we could not be with you in person. We extend our warm condolences to Neil and all the family on the passing of your treasured Dad. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and the tribe in Gleesons. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
As a child we would visit cousin Moninne, Paul & family. One of the highlights was a drive in the Citroën, the DS my favourite!
Paul was always a joy to be with. In recent years I would see him enjoying riding a horse around Kilruddery. A wonderful man, greatly missed, my condolences to the whole family.
Deepest sympathy to you Eoin and to all of your family on the passing of your Dad. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal. Éanna, Alina, Naoise & Umina.
Greatly saddened at Paul's sudden death. We had recently met, just a few weeks ago after not seeing each other for many years. We reminisced, recalling the enjoyable debates on architectural theories when we engaged in pre-planning discussions (I was a planning officer) on his sensitive designed housing schemes and approaches to the problems of redevelopment of Georgian properties. His Celebration Service did him proud. A life well lived Paul. The family will dearly miss you.
Sending condolences to Neil, Catherine, Gerry, Eoin, Helen and the extended Burke-Kennedy family. Paul was the kindest of people with time for everyone and a real interest in knowing how you were and what you were doing. Always so positive. You’ll miss him greatly but today was a real celebration of a life well lived.
Paul was such a good man, a brilliant architect and a source of inspiration and encouragement to young professionals who crossed his path. Like many great architects he had a wide variety of interests and was always a warm and inspiring conversationalist. His company at any function or event was always sought out by a myriad of people and rightly so. May he rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to you Neil and to all your family on the sad passing of your dad. May he rest in peace. Thinking of you at this time.

I spent an enormously happy gap-year in B-KD in the late 1970's.
Paul wore his great talent as an Architect lightly and his kindness as a person and an employer was exceptional and consistent. My sympathies to the Burke-Kennedy family.
When Paul said ''Hello, how are you?" it was a genuine and caring question. His kindness and smile will be missed by many.
