I can still see Paul as a young boy playing on the Gracepark green with all the local lads. The tragic loss will be hard to imagine. Our prayers are with you all.

I was in Rosmini for 5th year and met Paul in geography. I made few friends that year apart from Paul and one or two others. He was absolutely hilarious ,a gentle guy, always positive. It wasn’t until about 15 years after school that we bumped into each other just before Christmas (both of us last minute present shopping). We ended up getting pissed down on Capel st, he was exactly the same, a lovely fella. That was a long time ago now, probably 20 years. I have thought of Paul over the years and always with great fondness, it’s hard not to remember him without smiling. Deepest condolences to all of those who loved him, god bless, John
