'Mr Cullen' as we all knew him was a gentleman, a great manager and someone who inspired me to keep going and fight for my place even when I felt like giving up. Paul was one of the unsung heroes of our community. For years Paul gave many hours of his free time to Manortown Utd. This was done with the support of his wife Rita. Paul always demanded good behaviour from the boys on his team and bad language was never tolerated. Numerous young boys benefited from their time playing for Paul. And even after more than thirty years he is remembered with great affection by them.
