Dearest Sheila, It is with a heavy heart that I write to you to let you know you're beautiful husband Paul was one of most loving, warm and genuine man that I have had the pleasure of meeting.. I think I may have met Paul only a few times, but I felt like we knew each other for a long time. He was that kind of person. I felt totally welcome whenever I was in a room where you both were. There were only a few angels that God sent to us and Paul was the chosen one. You're probably thinking " I don't even remember Helen meeting Paul!". As I said it was a few times. I'm so glad Sheila that God put Paul in your life. Look up at the sky tonight and there is one star that seems to be much brighter than the others .I wonder who that could be ?
I'm so sorry I was not able to be there to add a little support to the family. I will be there for you long distance .
God grant us the serenity to except the things we cannot change the courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference.
Paul was my brother, a fact I was immensely proud of. I can't bear the loss. But this is devastating for Sheila his great love, his daughter Nina, his sons Danny, Rory and Ben (I am not going to say step-son, Paul didn't do 'step'). I have never been to an Irish funeral before, but this is a mighty way to honour the dead and fitting for my bro, he was a mighty man.
Rest in Peace Paul.
