Although I Can Not See You,
You Are With Me Night And Day,
For You And I Have A Special Love,
That Death Cannot Take Away.

All my Love, always and forever.

Rest In Peace, Daddy xx
Elegy for Paul

Everyday
I turn in my mind to text you. Spring
Squirrels, a summer tree in bloom or riotous autumn colour,
Fractal winter.
Old man Crane standing perfectly still in the river is still there
Stoically waiting.
You have many photos of him.

Remember
On the Skye boat, all of us resting on the journey back.
You, scouring intently the darkened hills and later, softly say,
Look, there, the eagle.
Then I glimpse the glide of the silent hunter
Tracked only by his shadow on the hill.
What quiet delight.

Dear friend
I will look for you in the snatched burst of the kingfisher’s colour
On a grey day. I will seek you
In the puffed up gloriousness of a fat robin in the frost,
I will grasp for you in those thorny shrubs where baby blackbirds grow
Open mouthed, insistent life.
And old man Crane will watch too and wait.
Our deepest condolences to Kerry and Family.
Rest in Peace my friend. Thanks for the fun during the early Amadeus days and for your friendship.
You will Remain in my Heart always. Love you forever💔💕

“And when great souls die,
after a period peace blooms,
slowly and always
irregularly.
Our senses, restored, never
to be the same, whisper to us.
They existed. They existed.
We can be. Be and be
better. For they existed”
Maya Angelou

Was so very sad to hear of Paul's passing. I have such happy memories of IT training with Paul in a hot prefab back in the day. He also gave me a small sport steering wheel for my precious mini which I treasured til it was stolen! He was fun, charming, and just a really lovely guy. Rest in peace Paul. Unfortunately I cant make the walk today thanks to a broken ankle but rest assured I will be thinking of Paul and all his family. . Condolences to all.
Uncle Paul, i dont even know where to begin to express how much your death has saddened me. In thinking of what to write here, i have shed alot of tears but some happy ones aswell in thinking of all the cherished memories i have had with you. Surprisingly alot considering we lived on the other side of the world from eachother. From being in germany with you when i was 12, then again when i left school and then with my husband. The twin to my dad i thought at the time, a lot of laughs, and even though i was thousands of miles away from home being with you at the time made me so much less homesick. One of the funniest memories was when i came back to yours one night and you were eating dinner in your giant puff jacket, you tried to play off you thought you were getting a cold, to my horror Helena spilled the beans you had collected wild mushrooms and cooked and ate them for lunch. When i woke the next morning you had freaked yourself out googling all night and taken yourself to the hospital to be treated thus miss saying goodbye to me and taking me to airport to go home.
Seeing you in Australia this year and you meeting my son who you became Grandad no.2 straight away cause lets be honest to a 3 year old you and dad are identical was just wonderful to see. I will miss you so very much and i hope wherever you are that you have found peace and a giant plate of wild mushrooms to enjoy. All my love.
Not sure where to start. I keep looking at the picture and cannot find words to express how very sorry I am - truly sorry in my heart ...
We met on my first day at Amadeus, we shared the same office for over 3 years, with lots of fun, laughter & learning on my side - what did I know then about the Irish (and Scottish and English)!!! You taught me well, I will keep those memories forever, I am thankful for them!
No matter where your journey might take you, I truly hope you are at peace!
My most heartfelt condolences

RIP Fella xx
Paul, so sad to hear these news. Please RiP
I knew Paul since our time in the Services Annexe. He was sharp and witty and great fun. I remember one day while he had a big motorcycle about 1000cc. He was light and looked like a fly on it. I was standing at the Bus Stop when he swung by and handed me a helmet to take a lift into town. I hung on for dear life all the way into the city. My sincere condolences to Kerry, his family and his closest friends, the gang in IT and his colleagues when he took on his new role on leaving the EI flock. I remember meeting him during Italia 90 with a disparate group looking for an open bar late in the night after we were beaten in the World Cup quarter final. Go shine Paul.
With sadness I heard about the passing away of Paul.
We were sharing the same office for several years in the early times of Amadeus.
Paul was always a great colleague to talk to and he always made you lough.
RIP Paul.
Condolences to all relatives.
Many cherished memories of Paulus over the years. Besides Aer Lingus Soccer Club (pints in ALSAA), following Jacks Army… Brussels, Tilburg, Luxembourg, Berlin/Poznan, New York, Orlando (in the Mustang convertible with the Riverdance on full blast)….Paris (😡Thierry Henry). Always fun to be with. Rest in peace 🙏💚
So Sorry to hear the sad news about Paul. Condolences to all his family.
We shared many a trip following the Irish team. Paul was always happy and smiling and delighted to see you when we met in far flung places.
May the happy times and his laughter help everyone at this difficult time.
Only met him the once but he was a lovely chap.rip paul
Condolence
My cousin Paul, we were practically raised together between Riverside and Conquer Hill. You teased us unmercifully as kids but with a lot of fun and as we got older you became a friend, confidante and sometimes counsellor and the older brother I never had. So much fun and so many wonderful memories, you were truly unique and will be so missed and always in our hearts.
My heart is broken for you Kerry, Linda and Alan.
Rest peacefully Paul x
Just looking at this picture of you Paul brings tears to my eyes. I will surely miss you my friend.
My first colleague and friend at Amadeus and over 30 years of great friendship.
We shared so many passions and interests, we cried for joy and pain when our teams won and lost. You were my lucky charm as you were always with me when 'my' team celebrated unlikely victories!
I'll never forget when you climbed the lamp post in joy after Denmark won the Euros in 1992. I'll never forget our spontaneous father and daughter road trip in Namibia.
We shared the trials and tribulations of our daughters growing up and pride as they succeeded in their goals.
Hamba Kahle Baba!

Dear Kerry and family, we share your grief and our thoughts are with you at your sudden loss of a loving father and family member.
Our sincere condolences,
Peter, Martina, Victoria and Fiona
So sorry and saddened to hear the news of Paul’s passing. As so many have said before he was a special, unique and lovable character. He’ll be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his many friends and former colleagues in Aer Lingus. May he rest in peace.
I worked with Paul for a good number of years and we struck up a solid friendship that was full of respect, fun and more fun !! He was a great worker, the EI people enjoyed his support on the new PCs he installed for them. We spent hours after work playing Paratrooper and he always triumphed !! I am devastated to think we can't meet again. I offer my sincerest condolences to Kerry and his family He never stopped making me laugh. As the song says.. 'is heaven good enough for him' RIP Paul.
We're deeply shocked and saddened to hear this news. It is many years since we last saw you Kerry. We offer you and the extended family our heartfelt condolences and wish you peace during this time.

Paul was a great character and true friend to us for many years. He graciously hosted us on a surprise trip to Erding on my 30th birthday - that was many years ago...

I am sorry to have lost contact somewhat in recent years. He will always remain strong in my heart with many memories of adventures and occasions. He truly was an all-round seeker of great fun.
A great friend back in Aer Lingus days. Sport, fun cars and a few holidays together, Aruba and Greece. He even let me drive the 911 on a trip out to Erding. Both of our loss we let the friendship drift. RIP

I was shocked when I heard of the death of Paul. We have not seen much in the last 20 years but I do remember the good days in the early years of AMADEUS. We worked hard together but had a lot of fun as well. Our parties at LA PADELLA in Erding were sensationell.
RIP Paul. You were a great guy.
