I worked briefly under Paul once. He was an exceptional tax adviser, a shrewd businessman and a good man. May he rest in peace and may his memory be eternal.

My sincere condolences to Judy and all the Dillon family on Paul’s untimely passing. I only heard the sad news today. I have been a client of his for many years and I will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace!

It is with profound sadness that today (Tuesday 18th November) I heard belatedly of the recent passing of Paul Dillon.
Sincere condolences to Judy,Rory,Rachael,Ariana, Pauls father Frank and all his extended family and friends.
Paul was our tax consultant. He was perhaps the most impressive man I ever met.
We first met Paul when he was at BakerTiley and we were looking for someone to manage an enormous tax problem.
I cannot overstate how much Paul did for me , for my family and for our small family business. We are indebted to Paul forever.
He was the most important person in our lives at an unbelievably difficult, traumatic time.
His ability to deal with revenue and negotiate a best possible outcome was unparalleled.
He was more than an accountant, much more. He was a once in a generation talent.
Even at the worst of time, Paul was magnificent. He was optimistic yet realistic.
Today my mind is flooded with memories of Paul. He was a deeply serious man but even in the worst of moments he was brilliantly funny.
I cant believe I'll never see Paul again.
I would have loved the chance to say goodbye and thank him for everything he did.

Paul. We thought the world of you.
You were magnificent.
Your life was short but incredibly full and meaningful.
Your family can be unbelievably proud of your achievements
Thank you for everything.
We will miss you.
Rest in peace.
Goodnight forever.

I had one single phone call with Paul about tax a number of years ago that changed the course of my life. He came across as a wonderful, knowledgeable and decent man.

As a neighbour fior 50 odd years and knew him from different places from Rathmines to Baggot street area, But the strongest memories were building forts in the garden when 8or9ish.

I am so sad this morning to hear of Paul's recent passing. A huge loss to his family, friends, work colleagues and everyone who knows him.
I really enjoyed working with Paul in the Tax department in Ryan Glennon many years ago, his good humour, sincerity and friendship always shining through.
A true gentleman, he always spoke of his beloved wife Judy and of his beautiful children. He often spoke of his dear mum and dad and brothers also.
I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers knowing that Paul will continue to guide and look after you all now from his Eternal home.

Dear Judy and family.

We would once again like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Paul, who you were robbed of far too soon.

Whilst we did not know him very well, we felt that we were at the beginning of a meaningful friendship at the time he became unwell, and it was clear to us that he was a man who would enrich anyone’s life for the simple act of being part of it.

We also know how proud he was of his children, and we know that they will live happy, fruitful and full lives that will reflect that pride that was so obvious. They are a credit to you both.

There are no words to fully express our sadness at his passing, but life on Earth is a short journey, and we know you will join him in eternal life again.

We find these words of William Wordsworth comforting and hope that you will too - “A Power is passing from the Earth / To breathless natures dark abyss / But when the great and good depart / What is it more than this? / That man, who is from God sent forth / Doth once again to God return / Such ebb and flow was always thus / Then wherefore do we mourn?”
