You are greatly missed within the Irish sea angling fraternity. So many days of friendly competition. R.I.P. Fergus.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Fergus. A great sea angler who did so much for our sport in County, Province and at National level too. Tight lines Fergus may you rest in peace. Sincere condolences to all his family particularly Nathan who I had the pleasure of fishing with on many occasions, and to his friends and neighbours.

I loved getting a call to go down to galway to cover for Fergie at times when he was on holidays but i especially enjoyed the times when i would meet up with him.
