Totally shocked at the sad news of Paul's departure from this world at such a young age, he was a brillent chef and any time I dined with friends they were ever so impressed with his food. I loved his adoring smile outside when lunch was finished whilst walking my dogs each day, he always smiled regardless of the weather. Finnegan's Pub has been such a part of my socializing for 36 years and always our favourite pub. My youngest sister Yvonne was the first Female bar waitress ever in Finnegans whom Dan gave her the job. To all the Finnegan Family, our sincrer sympathy and hope time will help to heal in some way.

We were so sad and shocked to hear the news today. We are filled with so many happy memories of coming home from SA to Paul's wonderful smile and fantastic food. He always had a hug and laugh for us. Finnegan's has been such a part of our family and it just won't be the same with out your beautiful soul. Thank you Paul for the memories and for being the generous man that you where.

Deeply saddened and shocked by Paul's sudden death. I met him last Wednesday out walking my dog, Balzac, to whom he was so good. My sincerest condolences to his wife , son, daughter his mother ,father, and brothers and sisters.They are a great family. Their grief is felt by many.

RIP Paul, will always remember your big smile coming into Barnhill Stores to get your supply of ham slices.
