I was deeply saddened to hear of Paul Gibney’s passing. Although I only had the opportunity to work with Paul briefly at RTE, his kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I would like to send my deepest condolences to all of Paul’s family. I worked with Paul in RTÉ. He was an excellent designer and colleague. We were all very lucky to have worked with him. May he rest in peace.

I knew Paul in NCAD. Aside from being one of the most talented people I met while there, he was also the funniest. He would regularly have me laughing before even saying anything, such was the anticipation of the utterence he was about to deliver. A very special guy.

Retired now from RTÉ, I was shocked to hear last week of Paul's untimely death and send heartfelt condolences to his family. He was a complete pleasure to work with, thoughtful, greatly skilled and determined on achieving the best result, while always good-humoured and calm.

I was very shocked and saddened to read about Paul's death. He was a warm, friendly and talented colleague. It was always a pleasure to meet & chat with him as I did regularly when I discovered he was also a dedicated GAA dad for rival
club, St Kevin’s. My deepest sympathy to all his family & friends.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Gibney. He put up a valiant fight and his loss is truly profound.

I had the privilege of working with Paul in the busy RTÉ News graphics team. Often, it was just the two of us, and despite the pressures of the job, Paul was the key to making my experience an enjoyable one. His kindness, easy-going nature, and sharp wit were complemented by his remarkable intelligence. Paul spoke fondly and often of his family, whom he clearly cherished deeply.

Paul was an accomplished and gifted designer, humble in spirit and an honourable gentleman. It was a pleasure to have known him, and I am grateful for the time we spent together.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My sympathies are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

I worked with Paul for 7 years in the graphics dept & he was an absolute pleasure to know. So fun to be around, full of craic and a fantastic designer that I learned so much from. He spoke so highly of his family and I'm so sorry for your tragic loss. RIP.

Paul was such a good friend and had a wicked sense of humour, he always made me laugh out loud. Dublin won’t seem the same without him there, there are so many happy memories hanging out and spending time together. I am so sorry I couldn’t be there in person for the funeral but my thoughts are with you all.

I'm heartbroken for you all. I remember Paul as a little boy in New York. He was a lovely little man, always drawing and doing his art.
