Sincere condolences to Paul's family at this very sad time.I have the fondest of memories of working with Paul,particularly in the mid 80's,shortly after the formation of DNG,when we were involved in an important L+T case in the High Court.
Working with Paul was a great experience.Unlike others,Paul wore his expertise and extensive experience,very lightly.He was always polite and helpful and was very amusing company.

May he rest now in everlasting happiness and peace.

Paul was a true gentleman and it was a pleasure to appear before him as Property Arbitrator. He was very concerned to be fair both to both claimants and to acquiring authorities. I and those who appeared before him will all miss him. I am very sorry for your loss.

I had the great good fortune as a student, on committees and in my work over the last nearly 40 years to see the exemplar of high standards and integrity that this gentle giant, Paul, was. Not only did he physically tower over most of us but in his chosen field he was truly a towering authority whose word was gospel to tribunals, judges, regulators, commissioners, colleagues and clients. He was only delighted to share and pass down his knowledge to anyone in a most humble and gentle way calculated to make you feel as if you knew as much as he did, which of course you didn't! Despite knowing almost everyone in the Irish property world and contstantly being sought for advice by us all he always had the time to help and to be interested in you personally. If they were drafting a revision of the OED all that need be put as a definition of Gentleman is ; Paul Good.
May he rest in peace, and God bless you.

When I was a younger valuer, Paul gave me a generous amount of time explaining the ins and outs of a ground rent valuation. I never forgot the help he provided me and his words of wisdom.

So very sorry to learn about Paul's passing. I grew up with him in Clonskeagh- we lived in 17 Whitebeam Avenue and the Goods were in 17 Whitebeam Road which used to lead to confusion over post and deliveries.

Dynamo on Sunday mornings in the early '60s in the internal league in Gonzaga College and bumping into him at many matches involving his beloved Shamrock Rovers. A good guy with a happy attitude to all.RIP.

We enjoyed Paul’s company immensely when we visited. Paul was a lovely man, a true gentleman who welcomed Eileen’s Australian cousins so warmly. We enjoyed his company with his family where we all talked and laughed a great deal. We were surprised and pleased by Paul’s interest in cricket. We watched some of the World Cup with him when we were in Ardattin and when home, had online communication with him through Eileen, while matches were being played.

We have many fond memories of Paul. May he rest in peace.
