I will miss him greatly and remember his sense of acceptance and comfort in his final days in Maries house where he set an example as to how to meet one’s God.

I am terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. We soldiered together for many years and he was always thinking of a new idea. He was so passionate about Tipperary Town and was a founding member of the Canon Hayes Recreation Centre, the Tipperary Excel Heritage Centre and Tipperary Technology Park. He had a strong affinity to Muintir Na Tire and what it stood for and of course his association with the late Canon John Hayes. There is so much more that I could include particularly his support for many charitable organisations. Despite his illness he kept in contact with those that worked with him over the years and organised a reunion for the Canon Hayes founding members late last year. His community involvement was immense and outside of his passion for Tipperary, was his passion for Cappawhite. I recall some great floats that he produced for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Cappa. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to his daughters Marie & Edwina, sons Damien, Eugene & Vivion, sons-in-law Mark & Michael, daughters-in-law Joanne, Tanya & Johanna, grandchildren Abi, Dylan, Gearoid, Andrew, Aimee, Hannah, Juliette, Daithi & Fiadh, his brothers Frank, Jimmy, John & sisters Therese, Margaret & Eileen, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours & a wide circle of friends. God rest you Paul and thank you for your great community service. We will miss your messages and the meet ups.
